Working at FAMPO, I have engaged in transportation planning for alternative modes of transportation. I have revived FAMPO’s bicycle and pedestrian counter program, coordinated with localities for Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) project applications, and engaged in preliminary work drafting a regional complete streets plan. The cover map for this page is work I completed updating our database of existing and planned bike/ped infrastructure in the region.
I also got to experience creating webmaps for information sharing! Here is one mapping the active transportation network, and here is one mapping bicycle and pedestrian crashes in the region.
